The Organaization of MARS

1. What is MARS?
MARS stands for Medical Amateur Radio Society of Japan.
No relation to US Military Affiliate Radio System.
2. The purpose of MARS
MARS facilitates the mutual understandings and friendship
among medical doctor amateur radio operators, and
collaborates with domestic and foreign radio amateurs and
leagues to promote amateur radio activities. Furthermore,
MARS will contribute to the public welfare by the
emergency activities in the events of disasters.
3. Members of MARS
154 members, as of July, 1999.

5. The information of membership
Members are required to have both amateur radio license
and medical license (MD). Annual due is 8,000 Yen.
